Hypermedia is the process of employing a programming tool or software to convert visuals, audios, movies, text, animation, hyperlinks, drawings, and other media into hypertext form.

Hypermedia is a type of educational software that can be used to educate as well as learn. Among them are a number of software applications that are beneficial and effective in a certain sort of educational activity. Students with hypermedia-enabled teachers can choose their own activities and control the flow of teaching while making their own choices. The learner will gain autonomy and independence in the classroom while also developing higher-order thinking skills.
