Lesson 22 - The Computer as a Teacher Tools


Computers are employed to achieve a goal. When given a task, computers become more productive. The goal should be to make teachers' jobs easier, to make learning easier for students, and to increase student achievement in quantifiable ways.


One of the most important purposes of a computer is that it may be used by teachers. It relieves teachers of some of their responsibilities, allowing them to devote more time to student learning. A teacher can deliver his or her lesson using a computer in a way that engages the entire class and is visible and understandable to pupils in the back. As we learned in the last session, learners come alive again when the lesson is given using video or presentation, which is only possible if the teacher utilizes a computer.
