Lesson 17 - Higher Order thinking skills through IT based projects


The teacher no longer serves as the sole source of information. On the other side, students develop their own facts and meaning. The teacher, on the other hand, is still working on it. The students conduct research and organize information in order to answer/solve the problem after the teacher introduces the topic and discusses the problem. Students are encouraged to think beyond the text in this environment. In resource-based projects, the inquiry-based or discovery approach is emphasized the most. The technique is given far more weight than the product.
