Lesson 4 - The role and function of Education Technology 

Reflection:
With the incorporation of technology into schools, the main purpose is to change how teachers and students gather, access, analyze, present and transmit information. This can help differentiate instruction and democratize information in classrooms, especially for students with special needs. I addition, it improves their teaching competence, modifies their teaching behavior and style, inculcates scientific outlook, attitude and approach. Educational technology also helps them to transfer knowledge to the learners. It helps the teacher to know, to what extent the educational objectives have been achieved.

Technology provides students with easy-to-access information, accelerated learning, helps student to collaborate, control their academic performance and interact with teachers, and fun opportunities to practice what they learn. It enables students to explore new subjects and deepen their understanding of difficult concepts, empowers educators to understand each student's unique learning needs and personalize learning material accordingly.
