Lesson 7 - Bridging the Generation Gap


Reflection:

The older generation often feels there is a generation gap between them and the younger generation. This may be seen in basic things like how people dress when socializing, as well as more personal relationships like friendship and marriage. Even in the face of obvious evidence of a digital world, schooling has scarcely altered.

A large generation exists in the field of new education, and it will continue to grow unless reform is implemented at the appropriate moment. However, because of the fast development of digital technology, it is also referred to as information and communication technology (ICT).

The older generation having a gap with the younger generation that they cannot easily adapt to the modern world of the young generations.  In addition, it represents a real-life situation. As future teachers, we must unify and bridge the gap between elderly and young generations. Even if they are unable to operate a computer, we must assist them in entering the digital world.
