Lesson 2 - Overview of Technology in Technology and Teaching 2 or EdTech 2


Reflection:
Educational technology 2 is concerned with “Integrating Technology into Teaching and Learning”. Specifically, this is aimed at introducing, reinforcing, complementing, and expanding learners' knowledge and skills so that they can become excellent users of educational technology. Necessarily, Educational Technology 2 will almost certainly require a deeper understanding of computers as well as practical use of computer skills. This isn't to say that the course's objective is to teach students how to use computers. Rather, the course is primarily focused on using technology to improve teaching and learning. In essence, the program's goal is to include technology into student teacher education, allowing them to adapt to and meet quick and ongoing technological developments, especially in today's growing global information and communication technology (ICT) environment.

As we all know educational technology is really beneficial to us. However, it should not be exploited or misused because, in my opinion, these technologies were not created to harm or degrade humanity; rather, they were created to assist us in all aspects of our life. Students should be taught how to use it effectively in this regard. However, instruction alone may not be sufficient for them to learn; teachers should also let their pupils to experience something in order for them to grasp the concept.
